Raising the standard of healthcare and education in Eastern Europe, particularly Romania
We have delivered many tonnes of medical equipment and supplies to Romania.
Since 1997, a computerised Drugs and Poisons Advice Centre has been maintained at a children’s hospital.
Education plays an essential role in the work of the CSEF in Eastern Europe.
We concentrate on the education of healthcare professionals, teachers and special needs children.
We introduce modern technology into the special needs schools we support.
This includes teaching materials using interactive, touchscreen computer systems and tablet computers.
The Transylvanian Autism Association is run by people who have children with autism.
For seven years the Association has provided practical help to many Romanian children with early diagnosis of autism. In 2013 they started the first Romanian school dedicated to the support of these vulnerable children.
