The objects of the Charity are:

To relieve sickness and protect and preserve the good health of the inhabitants of any part of central or eastern Europe (the area of benefit) who are in need

To advance the education of medical practitioners and other health workers in the area of benefit

To advance the education of those who are in need in the area of benefit

AIMS

The Charity has specific powers in the pursuit of the objects, including

a) to encourage, support and promote closer collaboration between clinical scientists from the United Kingdom, mainland Europe and North America

b) to promote and support study in the field of medical physics with a view to developing such specialities in the area of benefit

c) to promote and support study in the field of the medical laboratory sciences with a view to developing such specialities in the area of benefit

d) to promote the interchange of European and North American professional staff between countries for the purpose of training and continuing professional development and exchanging information and expertise
