The CSEF has in recent months been concentrating its efforts at School for the Deaf No.2, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

EDUCATION - Helping Romanian Deaf Children, continued A comprehensive programme of classroom upgrading was initiated. The first three classrooms were completed at School No.1 in February, 2003. The rooms were stocked with the latest teaching aids supplied from the UK, including a computer for each classroom, a TV/DVD player and extensive teaching aids. Over 800 items of equipment were supplied in 250 categories (cost: £15,750 - three classrooms). The classroom upgrades have continued with 14 classrooms at School No. 2 having being modernised, together with a Kindergarten, a Life Skills Room and a Seminar Room (cost: £10,000-£11,000 per classroom).
